Kishtwar census and all information

Kishtwar : Census 2011 An official Census 2011 detail of Kishtwar, a districtof Jammu and Kashmir has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Jammu and Kashmir. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Kishtwar District of Jammu and Kashmir. In 2011, Kishtwar had population of 231,037 of which male and female were 120,496 and 110,541respectively. There was change of 21.06 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Kishtwar District recorded increase of 26.84 percent to its population compared to 1991. The initial provisional data suggest a density of 125 in2011 compared to 103 of 2001. Total area under Kishtwar district is of about1,851 sq.km. Average literacy rate of Kishtwar in 2011 were 58.54 compared to 0.00 of 2001. If things are looked out at gender wise, male and female literacy were 71.75 and 44.13 respectively. For 2001 census, same figures stood at 0.00 and 0.00 in Kishtwar District. Total literate in Kishtwar District were 112,348 of which male and female were 71,847 and 40,501 respectively. In 2001, Kishtwar District had 0 in its total region. With regards to Sex Ratio in Kishtwar, it stood at 917per 1000 male compared to 2001 census figure of 904. Child Sex Ratio as per census 2011 was 922 compared to 0 of census 2001. In 2011, Children under 0-6 formed 16.93 percent of Kishtwar District compared to 0.00 percent of 2001. There wasnet change of 16.93 percent in this compared to previous census of India. Kishtwar District population constituted 1.84 percent of total Jammu and Kashmir population.
